Tha Eastsidaz was a hip-hop trio formed in 1999, consisting of Snoop Dogg (Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.), Tray Deee (Tracy Lamar Davis), and Goldie Loc (Golding "Goldie Loc" Smith). The group emerged during a period of West Coast hip-hop resurgence and was associated with the Long Beach rap scene.
Tha Eastsidaz's self-titled debut album, "Tha Eastsidaz," was released in 2000. The album featured collaborations with various artists, including Nate Dogg, Butch Cassidy, and Kokane. Tha Eastsidaz showcased a West Coast gangsta rap style, with Snoop Dogg's laid-back flow complemented by the gritty delivery of Tray Deee and Goldie Loc.
