Amerie, full name Amerie Mi Marie Rogers, was born on January 12, 1980, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, United States. She is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and actress. Amerie gained recognition for her soulful voice, unique musical style, and a blend of R&B, hip-hop, and pop influences.
Amerie's debut album, "All I Have," was released in 2002 and featured the hit single "Why Don't We Fall in Love." The album showcased her vocal prowess and her ability to infuse contemporary R&B with a fresh and innovative sound.
