Jadakiss, born Jason Terrance Phillips on May 27, 1975, is an American rapper and one-third of the legendary hip-hop group The LOX (Living Off Experience). Hailing from Yonkers, New York, Jadakiss has been a prominent figure in the East Coast rap scene for over two decades.
Jadakiss gained widespread recognition as a member of The LOX, along with Styles P and Sheek Louch. The group initially gained attention for their collaborations with Bad Boy Records, particularly their appearances on tracks alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs and The Notorious B.I.G.
In 2001, Jadakiss released his debut solo album, "Kiss Tha Game Goodbye," which featured the hit single "We Gonna Make It" with Styles P. The album showcased Jadakiss's gritty and intricate lyricism, earning him respect as one of the premier lyricists in the rap game.
