Gunplay, born Richard Morales Jr. on July 18, 1979, is an American rapper hailing from El Paso, Texas. He gained prominence as a member of the hip-hop group Triple C's (Carol City Cartel) and later as a solo artist. Gunplay is known for his gritty lyrics, aggressive delivery, and raw authenticity.
Gunplay's career received a significant boost when he became associated with Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG). As part of Triple C's, he collaborated with Rick Ross on various projects, contributing to the group's mixtapes and albums.
