Tell me about the architecture of your event so I can route you properly. What kind of event is it and what date are you targeting? Where’s the venue, and is it secured? What’s the capacity? Is it ticketed, and what’s the typical ticket price?

Budget & Financial Readiness
To make sure we don’t waste your time, what’s the working budget you’re approved for? Is funding already secured, or does it need internal approval or sponsorship?

Decision Maker & Approval Path
Walk me through how the decision gets made. Are you the final decision maker? If not, who approves the booking? How many people are involved, and what criteria do they use?

Artist Wishlist & Realism
Who are the artists you’re most excited about? Are these firm requests or open to options? Why these artists—past performance, audience preference, internal request?
Section 6
Behavioral & Relationship Fit (Internal)
This section is internal. Do not read to the buyer. Assess tone, clarity, respectfulness, responsiveness, and ease of doing business.
Section 7
Business / Follow-Up
Before we wrap up, I want to make sure we’re aligned on what needs to happen for this to move forward. 1) What will it take to get this done on your side? (Example: partner approval, board vote, budget sign-off, venue confirmation, sponsor, etc.) 2) Great — when do you expect that to happen? 3) Perfect. Let’s set a follow-up right after that so we can keep momentum. We’ll put the follow-up date/time in the next section.
