Hall & Oates are an American pop rock duo formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1970. The duo consists of Daryl Hall (vocals, keyboards, guitar) and John Oates (vocals, guitar). Known for their smooth harmonies and catchy melodies, Hall & Oates are one of the best-selling music duos of all time.

Hall & Oates achieved commercial success in the late 1970s and 1980s with a string of hits, including "Rich Girl," "Kiss on My List," "Private Eyes," "Maneater," and "Out of Touch." They are also known for their blue-eyed soul sound, blending elements of R&B, soul, and rock.

Despite a hiatus in the early 1990s, Hall & Oates have continued to tour and perform, maintaining a loyal fan base and influencing generations of musicians. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
