Positive K, born Darryl Gibson on August 20, 1970, is an American rapper and producer known for his contributions to the hip-hop scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Hailing from the Bronx, New York, Positive K gained recognition for his smooth delivery, clever wordplay, and humorous storytelling.

One of Positive K's notable achievements came with the release of his 1992 hit single "I Got a Man" from his debut album "The Skills Dat Pay da Bills." The song showcased his ability to play both sides of a conversation between a man and a woman and became a chart success. "I Got a Man" is often cited as one of the classic hip-hop tracks of the early '90s.
