BIOGRAPHY
Formed in Brooklyn, New York, in the late 1970s, Full Force consists of brothers B-Fine (Brian George), Paul Anthony (Paul Anthony George), and Bow-Legged Lou (Lucien George Jr.), along with their cousins Shy Shy (Curt Bedeau), Baby Gerry (Gerry Charles), and Curt-T-T (Curt Bedeau's twin brother). The group's energetic and comedic style made them a unique presence in the R&B and hip-hop scenes.
Full Force initially gained attention as a vocal group, known for their harmonies and dynamic stage performances. In 1985, they released their self-titled debut album, which featured the hits "Alice, I Want You Just for Me!" and "Unselfish Lover." These tracks showcased their ability to blend R&B and hip-hop elements, a style that would become characteristic of their work.
While Full Force achieved success as recording artists, they also became highly sought-after producers and songwriters in the music industry. One of their notable collaborations was with Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam on the album "Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force" (1985). The album featured hits like "I Wonder If I Take You Home" and "All Cried Out," showcasing Full Force's production prowess.
