Babyface was born on April 10, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. His musical journey began in the late 1970s when he joined the funk band Manchild. However, his breakthrough came when he co-founded the successful production duo L.A. Reid & Babyface with Antonio "L.A." Reid.
